Don’t Miss These Upcoming Gull Meadows Events

Updated: Jan 13, 2020

Gull Meadows, MI is ripe with things to do this fall. From festivals and hot air balloons to supporting the local high school football teams, there’s a little something for everyone. Of course, there’s some time left to enjoy the Sunflower Festival and the 7th Annual Kalamazoo Balloon Fest that will take place on August 23rd through the 25th at Gull Meadows Farms, but here’s more to enjoy.

Family Scavenger Hunts are underway through September 2nd at the Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery Visitor Center. This is a no cost event for the entire family that teaches everyone about wetlands, forests, and Wolf Lake. The hunts are self-led and take approximately an hour or more to complete.

Soar the skies with Open Cockpit Biplane Rides at the Air Zoo. Fly with Waldo with up to 4 people in one of only 8 biplanes in the world. The ride will take 15 minutes but it’s a ride you’ll never forget.

Be sure to also track the Gull Lake High School Athletics Department’s calendar for the 2019-2020 school year and see what the Blue Devils are going to do this season. The first game takes place September 6th at the high school where they’ll play against Battle Creek Central High School.

Then get ready for the bustling happenings of September with Grandparents Weekend, Touch-a-Tractor Event, and the Princess Superhero Weekend. Followed by the Giant Pumpkin Drop in October and a Dear Santa event accompanied by a Christmas Light Display in December.

Not only do we keep up with the ever-changing real estate market for Kalamazoo and surrounding areas, but we also keep up with the fun activities too. If you’re looking for real estate or a good time in the area, give us a call! We have access to it all.
