What could be better than spending a summer afternoon under the sun out on Gull Lake? After all, getting out and enjoying the warm summer breezes and cool lake temperatures is what a Michigan summer is all about! Whether you're more of a hit the lake and fish type of person or you simply enjoy jumping in and cruising the lake, here is everything you need to know about heading out on the water:
Richland Location: 10261 M89 Highway, Richland, MI 49083
This location houses indoor showrooms and a parts & service department
Bay of Gull Lake Location: 12485 E D Ave., Richland, MI 49083
Houses an extensive pro-shop/ship store and carries kayaks, paddleboards and SUP’s. The location also offers a full-service fuel dock, 80 wet-slips for rental and their boat rental operations.
Hours: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hours: Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Richland’s go-to destination for used boats, fishing boats and pontoon boats for sale. The location also offers boat storage, parts and service.
Fishing License Information
If you are 17 years of age or older, you must purchase a license to fish. Those under the age of 17 do not need a permit but do need to observe all fishing rules and regulations. Michigan's fishing license is valid from March 1 through March 31 of the following year.
Here is a look at the cost of purchasing a license:
Resident Annual $26.00*
Nonresident Annual $76.00*
Senior Annual (Residents 65 or older or Residents who are legally blind – see p. 6) $11.00*
24-hour (Resident or Nonresident) $10.00
72-hour (Resident or Nonresident) $30.00

Hunt/Fish Nonresident $266.00*

* Items include a $1 surcharge. Revenue generated from these funds will be used to educate the public on the benefits of hunting, fishing and trapping in Michigan, and the impact of these activities on the conservation, preservation and management of the state's natural resources in accordance with statute.
